Ron Stauffer

Marketer by trade, storyteller by training.

I'm Ron Stauffer. I run Lieder Digital, a digital agency that helps companies grow online — almost 20 years in now. Lately I've been spending nearly as much time writing code as strategy: daily GitHub, custom WordPress plugins, and newer stacks like the one this site is built on. I also run Lieder AI, where I help service businesses figure out where AI actually fits and then implement it — no hype, no jargon, no fifteen different tools.

For almost a decade, I've also done web accessibility consulting through WCAG Colorado, auditing websites for hospitals, colleges, cities, and counties. It's a narrow, deeply technical specialty most developers never touch, with real stakes: the ADA requires it, Colorado law now mandates it, and the web ought to work for everyone.

On the side, I write fairly often on Substack at Micron — short essays about my life and work, the closest thing I have to a journal anyone can read. My first book, The Solopreneur's Survival Guide to Business Networking, comes out in June 2026.

I have a degree in Storytelling from Metro State University in Denver. That sounds like a punchline until you realize how much of any career — marketing, parenting, teaching, running a business — is figuring out which story you're in and what to do next. Mine's covered a lot of ground: California to Colorado in my teens, eventually to Arizona, where the sun sets each day but the heat never leaves. Along the way I met my wife, had five kids, sang opera, taught ESL, mentored founders, and ran several tech Meetups. I keep finding new things to learn and people to learn alongside.

Teaching has been a constant thread. I've taught English to adult immigrants, mentored marketing entrepreneurs through a local startup group, and built online courses for remote workers. Helping someone get unstuck is one of the most satisfying things I know how to do.
